My son has had some difficulty with learning how to sit, so that is one of the things we have been working on in physical therapy. His physical therapist recommended that we buy a sit-to-stand walker toy for him to help him accomplish this necessary skill. The idea was we would have him sit in front of it and play, while I would be holding on to his hips to help keep him stable as well as working on other sitting positions with him.
I ordered this VTech one (https://amzn.to/4aJiWu4, as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases, but I am also such a huge fan of this toy that I have to share it with you!). It has helped my son so much, and also provided quite a bit of entertainment as well. My husband and I have both sat in front of this toy with our son playing different songs on the keyboard; I can do a good chunk of "My Heart Will Go On" as well as "Heart and Soul" on this keyboard. We also got a huge kick out of trying to figure out what the robot voice said the flowers were doing in the sun. Turns out, according to VTech, the flowers spin in the sun. I kept hearing, "The flowers sin in the sun," which is a lot more interesting than spinning.
If you are looking for a toy to help with sitting, that will then down the road be able to help with walking, definitely check out this toy.
